Over the last three years we have been looking for a system to simplify and streamline our personnel scheduling and payroll systems. We have worked through many demonstrations and trials but could not find a single system that catered for our individual needs and requirements. All the systems we looked at (Timegate and Rolecall to name just a couple) required additional ‘add-ons’ or re programming just to meet our basic requirements.

On the contrary, eZworkforce is a complete stand alone package that more than meets our requirements. eZworkforce handles our personnel records, personnel scheduling and operations and our payroll process. This is just where it starts. eZworkforce is a complete one stop shop for information with a place for everything. Retrieval of information is quick and easy and the capability to produce customisable reports is a great help with the sharing of information.

Our previous system, ‘Rolecall’, required additional licences to allow further use as our company grew in size. eZworkforce is constantly growing with us. Rolecall also required an additional package to handle payroll and the roster management side, we found, was so completely inadequate we reverted back to a simple MS Excel system. We also had to develop special ways of entering and storing information as it did not seem to have the provision for the most important, basic information. The system was extremely rigid, allowing very little user customisation. Information sharing was difficult as we only had access to a number of pre designed reports that would allow no editing at all.

eZworkforce also incorporates a new personnel vetting functionality which most systems tend to ignore. Normally this would be another expensive ‘add on’ but eZworkforce deals with it as a matter of course. It also manages the recording and upkeep of personnel right to work details. This is another vital area where most personnel management systems fall short.

I would challenge anyone to find fault with eZworkforce due to its ability to be customized to individual needs without additional ‘add on’ packages, development or specialist programming. This is a capability I have not come across to date.

eZworkforce is user friendly and doesn’t require hours of studying instruction manuals. If we do have a question or problem, the answer can usually be found in the attached help section which includes extremely useful video demonstrations for many of eZworkforce’s functions.

We have found eZworkforce to be the ideal personnel management solution for us and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Several years ago, we commissioned Working Pulse Limited to develop a specialised software application for use in our cash counting business, a very busy 24-hour operation working to extremely tight timescales. The product, ‘Virtual Vault’, was a great success and continued in use until quite recently when we closed that side of the business. In all the time the application was in use we never once failed to meet our reporting deadline.

In 2004 we decided to replace our ageing DOS based Guard Rostering and Personnel system. Having looked at several products already on the market, we decided that none provided the fully integrated, one stop shop solution we were looking for.

Based on our experience with Virtual Vault, we had sufficient confidence to commission Working Pulse to produce a fully integrated system which would meet all of our needs both currently and for the foreseeable future.

Working Pulse carried out on-site training of our staff prior to the system going live in October 2004. Existing data from our DOS system was migrated without difficulty and the changeover was achieved on time and without disruption to normal working.

Since that time, the system has never caused any down time, a remarkable achievement considering we are a 24x7x365 operation. Every request for changes or additions to the system have always been met and always within our, quite demanding, timescales. Users found no difficulty operating the system and are without exception, extremely satisfied with its functionality.
